Description
As published on SAM.gov.
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Tactical Technology Office (TTO) is requesting information regarding technologies, modeling, simulation, and testing of spacecraft intended for the Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO) environment. Additionally, DARPA/TTO will be sponsoring a workshop to establish a common understanding of VLEO technology and challenges, facilitate community interactions and collaboration, and identify technology gaps which, if closed, would enable a broader range of VLEO missions than are currently practical.
Q1: Is there anything limiting the RFI's submissions to one per company? Is the intent to include all responses to the key challenges within the two-page limit, or is it preferred to get multiple submissions addressing different technical concerns detailed in the requested information section?
A1: The intent is to have one submission within the two-page limit to an individual key challenge per company. For instance, if a company has multiple topics that fall under RFI Key Challenge 1 (VLEO Environment), then please submit those topics all within one 2-page submission. However, a company could in theory have four separate submissions (one for each key challenge) for a total of 8 pages.
