Description
As published on SAM.gov.
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Quantum effects in Biological Environments (QuBE) program, which ran from 2010-2015, laid the foundation for quantum biology by demonstrating coherence in photosystems, magnetic field responsivity of cryptochromes, and isotopic sensitivity in insect olfaction. Based on those results, the DARPA Biological Technologies Office (BTO) seeks information regarding the potential utilization of quantum biology to achieve breakthroughs in quantum computation and sensing.
