SOLE SOURCE NOTICE OF INTENT: DANIEL L. SUN, INC. (SUN-NET SOFTWARE) iTOA SOFTWARE RENEWAL

The Western Area Power Administration, Headquarters, intends to acquire on a Single Source basis the Annual Maintenance Renewal of Sun Net iTOA Software from Daniel L. Sun Inc. (Sun-Net Software) of San Jose, CA., under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Simplified Acquisitions. Sun-Net Software shall provide web-based software applications and support for iTOA Software Suite utilized by the Operations, Maintenance, Power Marketing, and Information Technology Divisions of WAPA.

Sun-Net Software is the sole provider of their proprietary software and services, and no other source is available to meet the needs of WAPA for this requirement. The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement in response to this requirement, which shall be considered by the Agency.

Capability statements must be received no later than the due date stated on this notice and shall include documentation on ability to satisfy the Government’s requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
