Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of Acquisition (FA) intends to award a sole source firm fixed purchase order to Global Satellite Engineering, Inc. 1901 S. Andrew Ave Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316, for 1-year airtime with 10-minute GPS reporting.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(c) the Limited Source Documentation is attached with this notice. The following FAR Part 12.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-4 (Nov 2023) Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5 (May 2024) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Please be advise that this is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested parties who believe they can meet the requirement may submit complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above to Laura Over @ laura.e.over@dea.gov by Monday, September 29, 2025, by 9:00AM, EST..

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract acquisition based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.
