Amendment A0001- Post question and answers from potential offerors. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement to replace the cafeteria refrigeration system at the Office of Training in Quantico, Virginia . This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
This announcement constitutes as the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number D-24-TR-0235-01 is being used as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is under NAICS Code 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. The requirement is subject to wage determinations. This requirement is unrestricted. All quotes shall be on an all or none basis, alternate quotes will not be accepted.
All sources shall submit a quotation which will be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to issue a single firm fixed price purchase order to the eligible, responsible Offeror based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). A site visit is scheduled, and attendance is REQUIRED in order for offers to be considered and evaluated.
The site visit is scheduled for 11:00am EST on September 6, 2024. All interested vendors must submit a Request for Access form by September 3, 2024 at 5:00p.m via email to William “Bill” Norris at William.H.Norris@dea.gov and Leslie.D.Abrell@dea.gov .
Please see statement of work for following attachments: Acceptable forms of identification Request Access Form Directions to the DEATraining Academy All interested offerors must submit Quotes to Naomi.S.Collier@dea.gov with the RFQ Reference Number (D-24-TR-0235-01) in the subject line. Offeror’s quote shall address the technical capability factors and a price proposal associated with each deliverable listed in statement of work.
Technical Capabilities Evaluation Factors Offeror must attend the scheduled walk thru to review existing conditions,locations, quantities, and any other relevant information required to provide aninformed quote/proposal. Offeror shall provide a relevant capability statement from successfully completed work in commercial refrigeration. Offeror must provide a copy of their businesses current state trade license toperform HVAC/Mechanical (either one or both) work as defined in this SOW.
Offeror must provide on-site trade licensed supervision of the work (licensed inHVAC/Mechanical either one or both). Offeror must submit the manufacturer, model, and specification sheet for the major equipment being replaced (Condenser/s and Evaporators) that they plan toprovide in satisfying the requirements in this scope. Please note the brand name or equal equipment listed in the Statement of Work.
If applicable offeror shall provide a copy of the subcontractor’s state licensinginformation to perform HVAC/Mechanical (either one or both) work as defined inthis SOW. If applicable offeror must provide the subcontractors proposed on-site employee’slicensing information including Name of licensed employee, State of License,License designation, and License Number.
Pricing Proposal The offeror shall propose pricing for accomplishing the services in accordance with the Statement of Work, to include a total price for the quote. The format for the pricing schedule is at the discretion of the offeror.
Any questions must be submitted in writing by email to Naomi.S.Collier@dea.gov no later than September 10, 2024 at 10:00am EST. The deadline for quotes is September 13, 2024 at 10:00am EST. All submissions (questions and/or quotes) shall be submitted electronically to Naomi.S.Collier@dea.gov with the RFQ number included in the subject line. No late submissions (questions and/or quotes) will be accepted.
