Satellite Technology

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with HORIZON TECHNOLOGIES, LLC located at 1101 Connecticut AVE NW STE 450 Washington, District Of Columbia 20036-4359, United States for satellite-based technology. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order.

A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR part 13, justification is attached to this notice. The acquisition will be conducted through the FAR Part 13 "Simplified Acquisition Procedures." The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 336413, Satellite Telecommunications. The business size standard is 1,250 employees.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date for submitting a capability statement is August 8, 2024 at 10:00 am EST. Eastern Time. All submissions should be submitted electronically to Kenny.J.Douangmala@dea.gov.
