NKK Switches LCD Switches- Notice to compete among authorized resellers

In accordance with Section 3.2.2.4 of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA’s decision to procure “NKK Switches IS LCD 64x32 RGB Switches” (Part Number: IS15EBFP4RGB-09YN) on a limited competition basis.

The FAA intends to compete the requirement among the following companies: NKK Switches Mouser Electronics DigiKey Corp. Arrow Electronics Future Electronics Corp. Heilind Electronics, Inc. Masline Electronics, Inc. Newark Corp. Powell Electronics TTI, Inc. The aforementioned companies were provided by NKK Switches as the only approved IS LCD 64x32 RGB switches resellers. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals.
