C-130 Wash Services

The Sources Sought notice is posted by a government agency seeking possible sources for a project. It is not a solicitation! The US Air Force is seeking potential companies who have the skills, experience, knowledge and capabilities required to perform all aircraft washes, lubes and towing services as defined in the attached PWS for all C-130J/H aircraft that the 86th Maintenance Group (MXG) has a responsibility to wash.

This is also inclusive of any deployed/TDY C-130J/H aircraft the 86 MXG would like to have washed. The place of performance is at Ramstein Air Base. The anticipated period of performance is from 1 November 2024 through 31 October 2025 with 4 Option Years to follow. The anticipated period of performance for the basic period and all options will be 12 months.

Interested sources are requested to provide a capability statement which briefly describes previous and/or current work experience in or relating to the areas listed above. In addition, interested sources are requested to review attached Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) and answer the questionnaire. You are encouraged to provide comments, concerns and recommendations in accordance with attached Market Research Questionnaire.

All information shall be submitted via email. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a request for proposal and is not considered a commitment by the Government.

This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB); the Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Although "quote" and "proposal" are used in this notice of contract action, your responses will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. This notice may represent the Government’s only official notice of this procurement.
