Description

The Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory requests a proposal for design, manufacture, testing, and installation support of a new SAXS Flight Tube to be installed within the Advanced Light Source beamline 12.3.1 experimental hutch. It is intended to house a vacuum compatible detector and to translate it along the X, Y and Z directions within vacuum. The Flight Tube will be approximately 4 meters in length and 1 meter in diameter, however the final dimensions shall be proposed by the successful offeror based on optimal use of the available space. Please see the attached RFP and supplemental documents for details.
