Sources Sought - Bungalow

This announcement serves as a Sources Sought Notice issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. Tyndall AFB is seeking suppliers that can provide tiny homes or bungalows that meet the Buy American Act. These units will be ~750 square feet, come in 1 or 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, living area, optional covered porch. One side of the unit would be primarily glass to overlook the coastline.

The Government is looking for units that are similar or equal to the pictures below. Units may or may not be manufactured on site. Ability to withstand 140+ mph winds is preferred but not required. The Government is looking for supplier points of contact, brochures of the units available (to include styles, specs, options), rough order of magnitude for 10, 15, and 20 units, and estimated lead time for production. The purpose of this Sources Sought is solely for gathering information and planning.

It does not constitute a solicitation, commitment, or obligation on the part of the Government. DO NOT submit a quote or proposal in response to this notice. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this notice, is voluntary. Therefore, the Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this notice. The Air Force has not made a commitment to procure any of the items discussed.

The release of this Sources Sought should not be construed as a commitment or authorization to incur costs for which reimbursement would be required or sought.
