Notice of Intent to Sole Source

This synopsis is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. DO NOT submit a bid/quote at this time. Provide a minimum of eight trained Clydesdale horses and any required riders to augment or stand-in for U.S. Army Caisson horses and or Soldiers in support of unforeseen State Funeral Operations. Period of performance is 18APR-01MAY2024.

The contract will be awarded based on vendor's ability to provide the required service at any unforeseen time The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) – Fort Belvoir (FB) intends to award a sole source contract to Express Clydesdale LLC (Unique Entity ID: EPX7NFDHBK73) to provide personnel and horses capable of conducting State Funeral Processions equivalent to services normally performed by United States Army Personnel. Please sole source justification and approval.
