The scope of this procurement action includes accreditation services for Mine Dust determination by Gravimetric analysis, Silica determination by X-Ray Diffraction, Quartz determination by Infrared Spectrometry, Metal Dust & Fume analysis by Inductively Coupled Plasma – Atomic Emission Spectroscopy, Carbon (Diesel Particulate) determination by Thermal/Optical analysis, and finally, accreditation service for Organic vapors by Gas Chromatography/Flame Ionization Detection.
Services include participation in the PAT Program for calendar year 2024. Note that this is not a request for quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This Request for Information (RFI) seeks industry comments to assist the Government in locating potential FSS sources with the ability to satisfy its requirement. Vendors that believe they can provide the needed supply that fully meet the Government's requirements may submit substantiating documentation to determine capability.
