Intent to Single Source Preventative Maintenance Agreement in Puerto Rico

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) intends to issue a noncompetitive firm fixed price contract to BioAnalytical Instruments, Calles Reina de Las Flores 1828, San Juan, Puerto Rico, 00937 (Unique Entity ID:W5KQZVDTKVK6 ). This procurement is for ASF Preventative Maintenance. See attached single source justification. The Government contemplates the award of a firm fixed price contract to BioAnalytical Instruments.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a response which shall be considered by the agency. Please email responses to Linda W. Washington at linda.w.washington@usda.gov no later than the time indicated below. Telephonic inquiries will not be honored.

Responses must be received no later than 12:00pm EST on February 5th, 2024. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Respondents should ensure the information provided is detailed, current, accurate, and complete. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 811210 with a small business size standard of $34m. The Product Service Code is 4940.
