THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTATION OR AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF A SOLICITATION. This Sources Sought is strictly for the purpose of conducting market research to provide data for acquisition planning.
This notice does not constitute a formal solicitation and is not a request for proposal, request for quote, invitation for bid, does not obligate the government to award a contract, issue a solicitation, reimburse respondents for any proposal preparation and/or submittal costs, nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The 378th Expeditionary Contracting Squadron, based at Prince Sultan Air Base, KSA, is seeking potential sources capable of providing Semi-Permanent Modular Fuel Tanks (MFTs). Once delivered, the MFTs should possess the unique capability of being assembled and disassembled using only Troop Labor and either stored on-site or transported to alternate locations for reassembly without requiring manufacturer certification, coordination or oversight.
These specifications will enable the USAF to efficiently fulfill future mission requirements in diverse locations, thus emphasizing the need for the specified semi-permanent attributes. Any contract resulting from this Sources Sought is anticipated to be Firm Fixed Price, subject to NAICS 333913 - Measuring, Dispensing, and Other Pumping Equipment Manufacturing... PSC 5430 - Storage Tanks.
Responses are due no later than 1:00 P.M. (Arabian Standard Time - AST) on 17 August 2024. If you have any questions or concerns about this notice, contact the Primary & Alternate POC.
