Intent to Sole Source Notice-SIEMENS

The Western Area Power Administration, Corporate Service Office intends to acquire on a Sole Source basis purchase of the Siemens Power System Simulation Software for Engineers (PSSE) and Geomagnetic Induced Current (GIC) analysis module for the PSSE software. The Period of Performance (PoP) requested is January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025. The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES.

Responsible sources may submit a capability statement in response to this requirement, which shall be considered by the Agency. Capability statements must be received within 5 calendar days after date of publication of this notice and shall include documentation on ability to satisfy the Government’s requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
