Purchase of BlueWave Ultrasonics Tanks 80SSC025P0001

NASA/SSC has a requirement for the following commercial items: 1. Mild Alkaline Ultrasonic Clean Tank with Overflow (Cee Bee super Bee 300LF) 74x60x44 2. Acid Rinse Tank (Nitric Acid 30%) 62x60x45 3. Corrosion Inhibitor Rinse Tank (Cee-Bee MX-15U) 58x60x44 4. Dryer 58x84x44 Tanks must be compatible with Blue Wave Ultrasonics Inc. (BlueWave) Controller Model No. BW-6771-000 that was purchased on solicitation number 80NSSC23844421Q.

NASA/SSC intends to issue a sole source contract to acquire the items listed above from BlueWave. The existing BlueWave Ultrasonics Controller Model No. BW-6771-000 is only compatible with BlueWave tanks and dryers; therefore, these additional tanks and dryer must be provided from the same supplier, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.

The Government intends to acquire a commercial product or service using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Rachel Clayton rachel.clayton@nasa.gov and Stephen Penton Stephen.d.penton@nasa.gov not later than 5:00 PM. Central Standard Time on June 9th 2025. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis.

A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
