NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to SUNBELT FIRE INC 602 Bon Secour ST Fairhope, Alabama 36532-3206 United States under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).

It has been determined that SUNBELT FIRE INC is the sole provider of 16 MSAG1FS422MP2C0LAR MSA G1 SCBA, 4500 PSI, Threaded, Std Harness w/ Chest Strap, Low Profile Swiveling Lumbar Pad, Solid Cover Regulator and Hose, Speaker Module, PASS, Rechargeable 16 MSA10156459 Facepiece, G1 Full Size, Medium 16 MSA10156424-SP 4500 PSI 45-Min Carbon Cylinder, Threaded 1 MSA10158385 G1 Charging Station Kit 6 MSA10148741-SP G1 Rechargeable Battery Pack. NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort.

Performance will be located at NASA/ Stennis Space Center (SSC). The Government intends to acquire commercial items and services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 333998 Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12 p.m. Central Standard Time on 6/16/2025.

Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
