Notice of Intent to Award

NASA/George C. Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) has a requirement for modernization of existing data visualization user interface using open-source solutions to enable easier customizations for platform deployments. NASA/MSFC intends to award a sole source contract modification to acquire the services from Element 84 via contract 80MSFC23CA017 using other than full and open competition as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Jason Arnold at jason.l.arnold@nasa.gov not later than 2:00 P.M. Central Standard Time on May 29, 2024. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis.

A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
