Reroofing Revitalization

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. NO PROPOSALS ARE TO BE SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)/Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) is hereby soliciting information from potential sources.

The scope includes, but is not limited to, complete roof system replacements; repair, renovation, and upgrade of roofing components; restoration of building envelope systems across multiple facilities; installation and upgrading of guardrails and fall-protection systems; improvements to roof access and safety features; and the removal and replacement of existing storm drainage systems.

AFRC is located at Edwards Air Force Base (EAFB), California 93523. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) AFRC is seeking capability statements from all interested parties for the purposes of determining the appropriate level of competition and/or small business subcontracting goals for the acquisition of the Reroofing Revitalization effort.

The Government reserves the right to set aside this requirement for small business to include any of the socioeconomic categories based on the responses received. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on SAM.gov. Interested firms are responsible for monitoring this website for the release of any solicitation or synopsis.

Interested firms having the required capabilities necessary to meet the above requirement described herein should submit a capability statement of no more then fifteen (15) pages indicating ability to perform all aspects of the effort. Further information regarding the NASA AFRC’s requirements is set forth in Attachment 1- Required Capabilities. Please provide the following information to the best of your ability in your response: Company's name, address, primary point of contact (POC), and telephone number.

Company's SAM Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). Indicate if your company is interested in performing as a prime contractor or subcontractor. Completed Capabilities statement in accordance with Attachment 1 Required Capabilities All responses shall be submitted electronically via email to Cacie Carrillo, cacie.carrillo@nasa.gov and Lonna Rumsey, lonna.rumsey@nasa.gov at no later than 10:00AM Pacific Time on February 23, 2026.
