Notice of Intent to Sole Source an environmental heat exposure chambers for mice

As part of our efforts to study the health impacts of rising global temperatures we require animal housing chambers that can expose mice to elevated heat in a precise and controlled way. In addition, to better model real world conditions we need to be able to control the humidity. In order to maintain compatibility of findings conditions must be kept as similar as possible. We have consulted with our facilities engineers to verify internal space requirements as well as electrical and HVAC requirements.
