Notice of Intent to Sole Source a Service agreement for Leica Confocal Microscope

This contract shall include no less than one (1) preventive maintenance inspection during the contract period. Service and maintenance agreement covers repairs, parts, and service of the instruments necessary for.

Service shall consist of, but not limited to, inspection, examination of all functioning parts, replacement, or repair of worn or un-serviceable parts, adjustment, calibration made with the expressed intent of maintaining the instrument to the manufacturer's original specifications, and software updates and patches. Service shall be performed by a Leica field service technician or engineer.

Only performance verified component parts, spare parts, software, technical support, upgrades and engineering resources to maintain the original operating specifications for this confocal instrument will be used. Leica Service Engineers are the only certified and factory trained engineers available to service the instrument.
