Scintica (iNSiGHT DEXA system) Full-Service Contract

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT AND NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), Research Triangle Park, NC intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Scintica, Inc., 721 Tristar Drive, Webster, TX 77598-1302. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 United States Code (U.S.C.)

1901 as set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)- Only One Responsible Source This purchase is for: This yearly service contract includes a yearly preventative maintenance visit to conduct performance testing and system evaluation. In addition, all costs associated with parts, labor and travel required to repair of service the equipment is included. Scintica Inc. and no other source of suppliers can provide genuine Scintica, Inc’s. service.

This purchase is for: Catalog Number Description QTY OsInDXA-SrvFull Full Service Contract This yearly service contract includes a yearly preventative maintenance visit to conduct performance testing and system evaluation. In addition, all costs associated with parts, labor and travel required to repair of service the equipmeis included. This coverage is available for an additional 4 years following the manufacturer's 1-year warranty.

Base Year: September 14, 2024 – September 23, 2025 Option 1: September 14, 2025 – September 23, 2026 Option 2: September 14, 2026 – September 23, 2027 Option 3: September 14, 2027 – September 23, 2028 Option 4: September 14, 2028 – September 23, 2029 This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for quotes. Notwithstanding, any responsible source that believes it is capable of meeting NIEHS requirement, may submit capability statement.

A determination by the Government not to compete this quote contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government and information received will only be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
