THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT AND NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), Research Triangle Park, NC intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Azenta US, Inc., 2910 Fortune Circle W, Ste E, Indianapolis, IN 46241-5502. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 United States Code (U.S.C.)

1901 as set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)- Only One Responsible Source This purchase is for: Service agreement for Azenta US, Inc. for targeted multiplex immunoassays currently being applied as a biomarker tool for disease detection and prognosis in the clinical setting Azenta US, Inc.’s proprietary products and is not available from other sources. Azenta US, Inc. and no other source of suppliers can provide genuine Azenta US, Inc’s. service.

Period of Performance:

Base Year: Start date to be determined for six months. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for quotes. Notwithstanding, any responsible source that believes it is capable of meeting NIEHS requirement, may submit capability statement.

Responses to this posting must be submitted via email to, moyerbr@niehs.nih.gov, by July 12, 2024, 5:00 PM EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this quote contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government and information received will only be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
