Clinical Site and Study Monitoring for NIMH Funded Research in Global Settings

The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) intends to solicit proposals from qualified businesses (NAICS Code 541990) to acquire comprehensive clinical site and study monitoring services for research in global settings that target the goals of the National Institute of Mental Health, with particular emphasis on projects addressing the priorities of the Center for Global Mental Health Research (CGMHR) and the Division of AIDS Research (DAR).

It is anticipated that a single IDIQ contract will be awarded from the solicitation. The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) Division of AIDS Research (DAR) supports research to reduce the incidence of HIV/AIDS worldwide and to decrease the burden of living with HIV/AIDS. The Center for Global Mental Health Research (CGMHR) coordinates the NIMH’s efforts to reduce mental health disparities beyond the United States.

As part of the NIMH’s Global Mental Health Research Strategy, the Center sponsors research that increases the body of evidence necessary to inform decisions concerning the adoption and scaling up of evidence-based interventions beyond the United States, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
