The mission of National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) is to discover how the environment affects people to promote healthier lives. The Division of Translational Toxicology (DTT) is an intramural division at NIEHS, and DTT scientists use a variety of traditional and cutting-edge approaches to better understand how factors in our environment may impact our health.
One of DTT's goals is to lead the transformation of toxicology through the development and application of innovative tools and strategies. This contract will provide required chemistry research at each step of the DTT toxicological evaluation process. This acquisition is to conduct Chemistry Research for NIEHS, Division of Translational Toxicology (DTT) and National Toxicology Program (NTP). The type and extent of chemistry research support provided will be specific to DTT and NTP research needs.
Program management procedures and chemistry technical activities will be provided under eight (8) Functional Areas: Logistics and Handling, Characterization, Formulation, Biosample Analysis, Special Studies, Animal Studies, Omics and In Vitro Assays.
