Salient Characteristics: The requirement is for 5 1st Tier Newborn Screening Internal Standard Kits. The kit is a mixture of internal standards for accurate quantification of first-tier newborn screening analytes by mass spectrometry analysis methods. Each kit shall contain 10 vials of the internal standard mixture described in below. The kits shall be delivered within 4 months of the award of the resulting contract.
First-tier newborn screening internal standard kits: The commercial product requested shall be a lyophilized mixture of the concentrated isotopically labeled internal standards with a chemical purity ? 97%, unless otherwise stated below, in a single vial that can be resuspended and transferred. The commercial product shall have a specific storage condition (e.g., 4-10 ?C, -20 ?C) with an expiration date for the commercial product lot being purchased.
The minimum period of stability within the specified storage conditions shall be at least 6 months. These isotopically labeled internal standards present in the commercial product shall have identical isotopic labels and isotopic purities, and final ?M concentration of each internal standard when resuspended in 1 mL of solvent: see solicitation for further details.
