Reverse Osmosis Water Systems Maintenance

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is 75D30124R72985 and is hereby issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP).

This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-03 (February 23, 2024). This is a SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE OPPORTUNITY. The NAICS for this requirement is 221310 and the small business size standard is $41.0 million. The services to be performed by this contract are for the repair and maintenance of Government-owned reverse osmotic water purification units.

The services are comprised of annual preventative maintenance, monthly inspections, and repair services required for the biochemical analyses conducted by the Division of Laboratory Sciences (DLS). Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance are identified in the RFP (Attachment 1). Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition.

A completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Products and Commercial Services is to be included with an offer. Clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition. Clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for subject requirement, in accordance with the RFP (Attachment 1). To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management. To register, apply via the Internet at www.sam.gov. It is the offeror’s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions (Attachment 1).
