This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is 75D30124Q78121 and is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using FAR Subpart 13.1 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

Description of Services: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a time and materials contract for environmental sampling and laboratory testing services of soil and water from defined areas within Mississippi to identify the prevalence and genetic variations of members of the Burkholderia pseudomallei complex and Leptospira species endemic to the Gulf Coast of Mississippi region.

A Time and Materials purchase order will be issued in writing to the successful offeror.
