Intent to Sole Source to Monaco

The 145th Airlift Wing currently employs Monaco Enterprises, Inc. equipment/systems for our base-wide fire alarm. Monaco Enterprise, Inc.'s equipment/systems are proprietary in nature and no other manufacturer's equipment/systems can communicate and support the current Monaco Enterprise, Inc. equipment/systems currently employed at the 145th Airlift Wing. There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2).

This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
