Notice of Intent for a Total Estimated Cost increase of the Kosovo Adapt Activity

USAID/Kosovo hereby provides notice of its intention to modify Contract 72016723C00002, also known as the Kosovo Adapt Activity, by increasing the Total Estimated Cost (TEC) of the award by $4,619,100 million, with the Contractor: Tetra Tech ARD. This changes the current TEC of $12,519,904 to a revised TEC of approximately $17,139,004. No extension of the existing performance period of October 2, 2023 to October 1, 2028 is requested, and no change in activity scope of work is requested.

The Kosovo Adapt Activity is USAID’s primary vehicle to improve Kosovo’s capacity to adapt and implement policies and technologies that support climate change mitigation and adaptation, ultimately resulting in a resilient environment and more economic sustainability for Kosovo citizens. Under this proposed modification, the Contractor will utilize the additional funding to to scale up the Kosovo Adapt Activity without extending the existing life of the activity.

The additional funding will be used to increase funding through Grant Under Contract (GUCs) to catalyze investments in, and adoption of, new green technologies, which can support climate change mitigation and adaptation. The activities to be completed by the Contractor are in line with the current scope of the Kosovo Adapt Activity. Continuing performance of the proposed activities with the same contractor is critical to the mission of USAID and is in the best interest of the United States Government. A Justification and Approval for other than Full and Open Competition (J&A) will be published after the modification is executed, pursuant to FAR 6.305.
