This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Request for Quotations number is 70Z085PR240006849 and is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This Request for Quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-65 dated January 29, 2013. The NAICS Code is 336611. The small business size standard is 1250. This is a total small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the agency. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5.

All responses from interested vendors must be received on/before 0800am Pacific Time, Sep 20th, 2024, and will be reviewed by the Government. The United States Coast Guard Surface Force Logistics Center has a requirement for the following:

The CTR shall provide Boiler System/ Duct Coil and Electric Heater 1. SCOPE 1.1 Intent. This work item describes the requirements for the Contractor to replace Duct Coil Pre Heater and Electrical Heater in the Fan Room. Correct leaking pipe fitting in Aux 1, Bosn hole, and pressure test system. Work will be on a WTGB 140 located at 337 East Water Street Sault Sainte Marie, MI 49783. POC Jayson Pol, 305-746-4292 1.2 Government-furnished property. Duct Coil Pre-heater P/N 3W11-18-5605F, Qty 1, Unit has on hand.

REQUIREMENTS 3.1 General. 3.1.1 CIR.

The Contractor shall submit a CIR for the inspections listed in the following paragraph(s): Boiler System 3.1.2 Tech Rep. Certified welder for repairs. 3.1.3 Protective measures - general. The Contractor shall furnish and install all protective coverings to seal off and protect all non-affected vessel's components, equipment, and spaces near the work area against contamination during the performance of work.

Upon completion of work, the Contractor shall remove all installed protective measures, inspect for the presence of contamination, and return all contaminated equipment, components, and spaces to original condition of cleanliness. 3.1.4 Interferences. The Contractor shall be aware that interferences in way of work include, but are not limited to the following:

Piping, foundations, insulation and electrical wiring.

3.2 Work: The Contractor shall remove isolate Duct Coil Pre-Heater drain DOWFROST HD 50% sweet of piping from damage coil and install new and pressure test weld. Remove and install new Electrical Heater and OP test. Isolate pipes in Aux 1 and Bosn Hole to inspect unions and replace O-rings, reseal union to repair leaks. Remove and dispose of up to 120 gallons of DOWFROST HD 50% in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws.

Upon renewal and installing water sire system contractor will conduct an entire system pressure test and replenish with new DOWFROST HD. System will be placed in normal operation and conduct operational test. 3.4 Touch-up preservation. Renew insulation removed for coils and touch up any paint. 4. NOTES 4.1 Marine Chemist certification will be required prior to any hot work / use of open flame. 4.2 Contractor provides Fire Watch. g. All consumables to include but not limited to:

Nitrogen, silver, flux, oxygen, acetylene, rags shall be provided by contractor.
