Notice of Intent: The Coast Guard intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole-source procurement (under FAR authority 6.302) to Stryker Dealership Group, 4971 AL HWY 21 N, Piedmont, AL for the following:

Trailers will be used to transport dive team compression chambers to be utilized for future Dive deployments, operations, and training exercises. These compression chambers are equipped with highly sensitive pressure gauges that are carefully calibrated to ensure medical treatments are executed precisely. The purchase of the Stryker Flatdeck Trailers will allow Dive Teams to execute safe transportation of these chambers. These Flatdeck Trailers are specifically outfitted and designed to accommodate the size, weight, sensitivity, and the overall safety in transporting the chambers to and from various mission locations.

Responses: This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, however all responsible sources who believe they can meet all of the requirements may submit a capability statement that demonstrates clear and convincing evidence of capability, addressing the points identified above. Any submission that DOES NOT clearly demonstrate source can meet the requirements stipulated will be deemed non-responsive. The NAICS Code for this procurement 336120; small business size standard 1,000 employess.

The contract type will be a firm-fixed price. If no responses are received within fifteen (15) days with sufficient information(i.e brochures, pictures, specifications) to determine that another responsible source is available, negotiations will be conducted with Stryker Dealership Group . Any and all questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer at terry.e.craft@uscg.mil no later than 23 August 2024, 12:00 PM Pacific Time.
