NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE ST. PAUL ISLAND, ALASKA FACILITY CARETAKER SERVICES

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Project Title: ST. PAUL ISLAND, ALASKA USCG FACILITY CARETAKER SERVICES. The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price award for Facility Caretaker Service for USCG Facilities in St. Paul Alaska to Awalix, LLC EUI: FSQLFN2BBPB3, 4720 Business Park Blvd, Anchorage, AK 99503-7175. The total estimated value is less than $88,000.00.

The proposed procurement is for service for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, these services are available from only one or a limited number of sources or from only one or a limited number of suppliers with unique capabilities.

This requirement was solicited for quote in 2023 via 70Z04523QKODI0220 and did not identify additional sources for services in this remote Arctic location. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
