Description
As published on SAM.gov.
Cybersecurity and Information Assurance Security Program (IASP) Support Services bridge contract to support Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and United States Coast Guard (USCG) Information Systems developed and maintained at multiple geographical locations. A majority of the Places of Performance are Government Owned contractor-operated facilities with the primary function of providing full life-cycle support for operationally focused USCG IS, PIT and PIT Systems.
Secondary places of performance may be USCG vessels and shore facilities, as well as commercial cloud facilities. These USCG systems support missions that include, but are not limited to Protection of Natural Resources, National Defense, Maritime Safety, Mobility, Security, Financial Management, IT Support, and Administration of Mariner Credentials.
The Coast Guard continues to strive to meet existing security mandates as well as new and emerging security requirements from the Department of Defense (DoD) as well as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). One of the challenges is moving to a more automated approach to provide better solutions with the capability of determining compliance for all information systems on demand.
