Custom-fabricated Intake Shields

This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for market research andplanning purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10. This is not a Request forProposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or Invitation for Bid (IFB), and itdoes not constitute a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation oraward a contract. The Government will not reimburse any costs associated withresponding to this RFI or providing any requested information.

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking sources capable ofmanufacturing and delivering custom-fabricated intake guards (“IntakeShields”) for Cummins engines installed on the 47-foot Motor Lifeboat (47 MLB),in accordance with Government-provided specifications.
