Installation of Video Surveillance System (VSS) and Upgrade to Intrusion Detection System (IDS)

Synopsis for 70RFP123RE4000005 now 70RFP123QE4000002 Video Surveillance System (VSS) Installation and Intrusion Detection System (IDS) Upgrade in Atlanta, GA at the Sam Nunn Federal Center and Childcare Center The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS) has a requirement for a contractor to purchase and install a new standalone, Network Video Management System (NVMS), fixed/panoramic/PTZ IP cameras, client workstations, control center flat panel monitors, and all additional equipment and appurtenances necessary for a fully functional IP Video Surveillance System (VSS).

The contractor shall also purchase and install various Intrusion Detection System (IDS) components to upgrade the existing IDS system located at the Sam Nunn Federal Center and Childcare Center, 100 Alabama Street SW., Atlanta, GA 30303. Contractor shall perform all VSS and IDS component installation as noted in the Statement of Work (SOW). A site visit will be scheduled. All information required is contained in the solicitation package to be posted by 8/25/2023.

This acquisition is being solicited as a 100% small business set aside. Services shall be provided via a firm-fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561621 and the size standard is $25.0 million. The source selection process for this acquisition is best value trade-off. The submission requirements and evaluation criteria will be defined in the Request for Proposal (RFP).

The Period of Performance for the installation is no later than 90 business days after the receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The contractor is required to register with the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov.
