FEMA Region IX Emergency Medical Evacuation Insurance and Services

Q&A Attached January 18, 2024 1:35PM CST This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.6, "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," FAR 13.5, "Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items," and FAR 15 "Contracting by Negotiation" as supplemented with addition information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation with quotes are being requested.

This solicitation is a request for quote (RFQ). This RFQ provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-97 dated August XX, 2023. This requirement is for Emergency Medical Evacuation Insurance and Services to provide insurance and evacuation services to Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region IX personnel or individuals doing work on behalf of FEMA in US Territories in the Pacific.

All interested companies shall provide responses for the required services as described in Attachment A_ Statement of Work (SOW), Attachment B_ Scenario for Response and Attachment C_ Pricing Worksheet). Period of performance will be for twelve (12) months from the date of award. Questions - Prior to submission of quotes, vendors are expected reach a reasonable understanding of the requirements of the RFP.

If such a review establishes the need for correction or clarification of the RFP, such information should be brought to the attention of the contracting officer immediately to be corrected. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted electronically to the contracting officer at: gina.wheatley@fema.dhs.gov . All questions are due (via email ONLY) no later than Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 1200 PM Pacific. Submission - FEMA will only accept responses submitted via email.

Technical and Price volumes shall be submitted in two separate attachments. There shall be no pricing information contained within the Technical volume. Submissions shall be emailed to gina.wheatley@fema.dhs.gov. Submissions are due NO LATER THAN Monday, January 22, 2024 at 8:00 AM Pacific.
