Armed Security Guards - North Carolina

This requirement is for Contract Security Guards to provide security services in North Carolina, primarily at disaster related sites, facilities within the declared disaster areas, and FEMA operated facilities in North Carolina. Currently there are 22 declared counties, this number may increase that require support for armed guards within the State of North Carolina.

The immediate requirement will be for armed gaurd services for the Disater Recovery Centers (DRC), the FEMA Joint Federal Office (JFO), FEMA Branch Offices, Responder Lodging, and Staging Yards. These facilities require 24/7 security. The Contractor may only utilize Departmentof Labor (DOL) catagory 27102 Guard II security personnel tp perform these services under this contract.

All catagory Guard II security must also meet all local and state qualification requirements necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position. This will be a Best Value - Trade Off (BVTO) posting - the award will got the the Offeror who proporsal provides the best value to the Government. Price will be evaluated by price reasonableness and comparison to historical data.
