Electricity Services for FEMA site at 661 Selfield Rd, Selma AL 36703

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Central Alabama Electric Cooperative (CAEC) to provide utility services (electricity power) for the Manufactured Housing Storage Site (MHSS) located at 661 Selfield Rd in Selma, Alabama, Zip 36703. The contract for the utility services (electricity power) is anticipated to be awarded during Fiscal Year 2025 and shall be for a period of one base year of 12 months and four option years of 12 month each, for a total of sixty (60) months..

Please refer to Attachment 1 – DRAFT Statement of Work for more information about the description of the contemplated requirement and delivery location. This is a Sources Sought Notice of the upcoming Sole Source solicitation #70FB8025Q00000002. Proposals are not being requested at this time. The Government is only requesting responses from interested parties capable to meet this requirement and announcing that a solicitation might be forthcoming.

All interested parties are encouraged to provide information on their capabilities to meet this requirement. In order to be considered a potential source, interested parties must submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirement specified above and advantages of the Government to consider another source.

The documentation shall include price estimates and descriptive literature containing sufficient technical documentation to establish a bona-fide capability to meet this requirement. Only written responses will be considered. All written responses from responsible sources will be fully considered.

If no affirmative written response, indicating that a comparable source is available, is received within 5 calendar days of publication of this notice, the government shall proceed with a sole source award to Central Alabama Electric Cooperative (CAEC), Unique Entity ID: ZQBMTJATKHA3.
