Self-contained, compressed oxygen, closed circuit emergency breathing device with a minimum 10-minute service duration. The SCBA provides oxygen for emergency escape from environments with oxygen deficiency and/or smoke or other airborne contaminates. The unit is fitted with a flame resistant hood which completely covers the head and neck, with a clear window for viewing and constructed to protect the eyes, nose and mouth during escape.
