The Naval Supply Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Nuclear Supply Chain Management Directorate is dedicated solely to providing logistics and sustainment support to the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. We are responsible for the provisioning, procurement, and quality assurance of all components within the Navy's nuclear propulsion plants, also known as nuclear reactors. See Section 1.3 below for a brief overview of a nuclear propulsion plant.
This Request for Information (RFI) is being used as a market research tool to identify small business concerns interested in being considered for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for competitively procured nuclear reactor 4730 products with a Federal Supply Code (FSC) of 4730. The attached Request-For-Information contains a detailed overview of the NAVSUP WSS Nuclear Program and is being used as a market research tool to identify small business concerns interested in becoming a valued NAVSUP WSS supplier.
