Hosted Payment Processing System Requirement

Advance Notice: Upcoming Request for Information (RFI) for Hosted Payment Processing System Requirement The Treasury is conducting market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 (Market Research) to inform acquisition planning for a secure, hosted Payment Processing System to support federal operations and to better understand industry capabilities in this market.

The anticipated requirement will include secure embedded checkout functionality, server-side payment workflows, refund processing, vaulting of payment methods, reconciliation and reporting capabilities, administrative dashboard access, and compliance with applicable federal security, accessibility (Section 508), and operational requirements.

The Agency anticipates releasing the RFI on or before March 31, 2026. As part of the RFI, the Government expects to provide draft requirements documentation and potential evaluation factors to obtain industry feedback prior to finalizing the solicitation. Upon release of the RFI, interested vendors may be invited to:

Provide capability statements describing relevant experience Identify recommended approaches to meeting the stated outcomes Comment on feasibility, performance targets, and implementation considerations Provide feedback on draft evaluation criteria Identify potential risks, constraints, or alternative solutions Provide rough order-of-magnitude (ROM) or possible unit pricing information, and discount methodologies that could be offered If trial licenses are available for feasibility testing in a sandbox enviroment This notice is provided for informational and planning purposes only.
