The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded a contract to ARC Technology Solutions, LLC, Nashua, NH for acquisition of Runway Status Light (RWSL) System equipment to include individual light controllers and master lighting controllers. The contract was awarded as a one-time, fixed price contract. ADB Safegate is the only manufacturer that builds light controlling equipment and fixtures that will ensure the FAA baseline is maintained and that will work with existing components.
There are no other known companies that manufacture products that are “plug and play” compatible with existing ADB RWSL systems. ADB has no authorized distributors who provide these products. A market survey (6973GH-26-MS-00003) was posted to the SAM.gov web site on December 17, 2025. Responses to the market survey resulted in a determination to allow for full-and-open competition.
Solicitation 6973GH-26-R-00164 was posted to the SAM.gov web site on June 25, 2026. Four (4) timely proposals were received by the due date for receipt of proposals. In accordance with the solicitation, award was made to the offeror whose proposal provided the Lowest-Priced offer from a responsible offeror. Contract 6973GH-26-C-00191 was awarded on September 2, 2026 to ARC Technology Solutions, LLC for a total value of $571,526.68.
