Screening Information Request (SIR)/Request for Proposal (RFP): 6973GH-24-R-00137 requirements for the acquisition of PAR-38 60W - Halogen lamps (NSN 6240-01-344-4811) for use in runway approach lighting systems for the FAA. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the acquisition of PAR-38 lamps.
The PAR-38 60W - Halogen lamps (NSN 6240-01-344-4811) are used in Medium Intensity Approach Lighting System with Runway Alignment Indicator Lights (MALSR). The FAA is establishing an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract requirements for services to produce the PAR-38 60W Halogen Lamps.
These lamps will be used in the runway approach lighting systems that will help aid the Navigation/ Landing/Weather Product Division (AJW-L700) in providing life-cycle navigational aids (navaids), landing, weather, and lighting systems end-to-end logistics support, customer service, and accomplishes special navaid, landing, weather, and lighting projects in support of the NAS. This SIR/RFP is set-aside for Small Businesses (SB).
The NAICS code for this effort is 335139 “ Electric Lamp Bulb and Other Lighting Equipment Manufacturing Contractors" with a size standard of 1250 Employees. All offeror questions, concerns pertaining to this SIR/RFP should be sent in writing to the Contract Specialist at Bryon.R.Nolan@faa.gov by 27 June 2024, 1700, CDT. Proposals are due 15 July 2024, 1700 CDT. See the attached SIR for further details.
