Acquisition, Repair/Refurbishment Services , ASR-11 Radar Encoders, NSN 5865-01-512-6746

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded contract 6973GH-24-D-00039 for acquisition, repair and refurbishment services in support of the ASR-11 Radar Encoders, NSN 5865-01-512-6746 for use in the Airport Surveillance Radar (ASR-11) field Radar sites. The contract was awarded for one (1) base year period with four (4) one-year option periods to be exercised at the sole discretion of the FAA.

BEI Precision Systems & Space Company Inc., Maumelle, AR, is the only known source that can provide the acquisition, repair and refurbishment services in support of the ASR-11 Radar Encoders manufactured by BEI. BEI is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of this equipment. BEI owns the proprietary data rights for this encoder. A market survey (6973GH-23-MS-00005) was posted to the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) web site on December 8, 2022. No responses were received in response to the market survey.

Additionally, a Notice of Intent to Single Source was posted to the SAM.gov web site on February 15, 2023. An Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity contract with firm-fixed prices for acquisition, repair and refurbishment services of encoders for use in the ASR-11 radar system has been awarded to BEI Precision Systems & Space Company Inc., Maumelle, AR. The Total Estimated Potential Value (TEPV) of the contract, if all four (4) option periods are exercised is $3,705,390.00.
