This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and under the authority of FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This Announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is issued under RFQ No. 693JJ624Q000015 and includes incorporated provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-06. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 236220 – “Commercial and Institutional Building Construction,” Product and Service Code (PSC) is Z2AA – “Repair or Alteration of Office Buildings.” The RFQ is a set aside for small business.

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) is soliciting quotations to install a framed glass wall with sidelights and floor to ceiling double doors to match existing finishes in the southside of the elevator lobby leading to the Federal space at the Transportation Technology Center (TTC).

Work is to be performed in the Operations Building, TTC located at 55500 DOT Road, Pueblo CO, 81001. Eligible Offerors should ensure that the personnel designated to work on this contract are qualified to fulfill all duties outlined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW).

(Attachment No. 1) This acquisition is for a commercial item or service and is conducted under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures; and FAR Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items and is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. The period of performance for this purchase order shall not exceed 6 months from the date of award. This will be a Firm, Fixed-Price base on the project completion.

Please provide a quote in accordance with the SOW. (Attachment No. 1) Scope: The work consists of the contractor provided Delivery, Installation, Labor, Equipment, and Materials required to install, cleanup and removal of excess materials, (1) Pair of glass doors with closers and frames/sidelights located on the 2nd floor of the Ops building leading to the FRA wing.

Warranty: Contractor shall provide a minimum (12) twelve months warranty for labor and materials. Option Years - Contractor shall also provide pricing for an annual service agreement for (4) four years to be executed at FRA’s discretion. Only vendors that have a valid UEI and registered in the System for Awards Management (SAM) shall be eligible to be awarded a contract form the federal government.
