North Penn – Area 7 (03X1) (RAF/DES)

New Task Order Requirement – North Penn – Area 7 (03X1), RAF/DES The purpose of this request is to fund a new DES Task Order to update the Conceptual Site Model (CSM) and develop a Focused Feasibility Study (FFS) for North Penn Area 7 - OU5, incorporating new information and data obtained from activities performed over the past 10 years. The goal of this TO is to produce an updated FFS for OU5 that integrates historical data from multiple sources and reflects current Site conditions.

This is mission critical work mandated under Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) aligning with EPA's pillars by ensuring community access to clean air, land, and water. If this is not completed, EPA will not be able to fulfill its requirements for completing the remedial investigation at the Site posing a risk to human health and the environment and long-term protectiveness of the local community.
