Electric Vehicle Charging Station Design & Installation, Naval Station Newport

This project includes the design and construction of electric vehicle charging stations to serve Government fleet vehicles assigned to buildings 1, A63, and A9 and is in support the Government initiative to lower emissions. The intent is to provide site improvements, electrical infrastructure, and charging stations to support present and future requirements for Level 2 electric vehicle charging at each facility. The base contract includes the full design for all three buildings.

The base contract also includes construction of site improvements, electrical infrastructure, and EV charging facilities for B1. The contract includes construction options for pavement repair of the existing EV parking area at B1 along with construction options for new EV charging facilities at BA63 South, BA63 North, and BA9.
