THIS IS A PRE-SOLICIATION NOTICE – The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9 Central Region, 1639 Medical Center Parkway, Suite 204, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37129 will be soliciting a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 01/04/2024 for construction services for the following project: Project# 596-22-703 - EHRM Training & Admin Space Support at the 2250 Leestown Road.
Lexington, KY 40511. SET-ASIDE: 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)
PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000.
NAICS: 236220 – Commercial and Institutional Building Construction SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: $45Million PROJECT OVERVIEW: The Lexington VA Healthcare System, Franklin Sousley Division, has a requirement for a contractor to provide construction services for Project # 596-22-703 - EHRM Training & Admin Space Support in accordance with the Statement of Work, Project Specifications and Drawings.
The work includes general construction, alterations, walks, electrical, architectural, doors, door hardware, physical access controls and necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items shown and identified in the Statement of Work, Specifications and Drawings. Anticipated completion time from Notice-to-Proceed is 455 calendar days for the entire project.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Apparent successful offerors must have a current VETS 4212 report on file with the Department of Labor, registered in SAM, and must apply for and receive verification from the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) of their SDVOSB status in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.709 by submission of documentation of veteran status, ownership and control sufficient to establish appropriate status, offerors must be both visible and verified by the Department of Veteran Affairs CVE at the time of submission of proposal.
Failure to be both verified by CVE and visible on https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov at the time of proposal submission will result in the proposal being deemed nonresponsive. All offerors are urged to contact the CVE and submit the aforementioned requirement documents to obtain CVE verification of their SDVOSB status if they have not already done so. Questions related to this requirement will only be addressed in writing by way of email to the Contracting Officer at Robert.pritchard2@va.gov.
The Project Number, Project Name, and Solicitation Number must be included in the subject line of all questions related to this requirement.
