Notice of Intent to Sole Source (ISC)2 Security Congress 2024 Conference Fees

In accordance with FAR 5.2, this is a notification of a proposed sole-source contract action to (ISC)2 for Security Congress 2024 Conference Fees for 32 C5ISC members.

The US Coast Guard, C5I Service Center, intends to solicit and award on a soles source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) to INTERNATIONAL INFORMATION SYSTEM SECURITY CERTIFICATION CONSORTIUM, INC.((ISC)2), 625 N Washington Street, Suite 400, Alexandria, VA 22314. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. ISC2 Security Congress in an annual conference hosted by ISC2.

ISC2 is the only vendor providing this type of conference and no other vendor is available from which to purchase conference attendance. ISC2 Security Congress brings together cybersecurity professionals from around the world for industry leading education, keynote addresses, networking, career resources, and workshops. ISC2 Security Congress is available to holders of CISSP certifications and allows conference attendees to meet their CPE annual requirements.

All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Interested vendors may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 2:00 p.m. ET of 24 June 2024. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.

This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
